The Caswell Farmers’ Market, sponsored by the Caswell County Local Foods Council (CCLFC), is held weekly on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:30pm starting April 25 (closed July 4). Local vendors sell fruits, vegetables, meats, baked goods and other value-added food products, all grown or made within 75 miles of the market.

CCLFC hosts the “Two Bite Club” for kids (18 and under) each week. Children learn about a featured fruit or vegetable, what it looks like, smells like, how it grows and a simple way to prepare it. If they eat two bites, they’re rewarded with a $5 token to spend at the market on healthy produce! This activity attracts more and more visitors each week.

Market days have become the weekly place for locals to hang out as they come to shop, run into friends or toe-tap to the occasional market musician.

Located at Bright Leaf Center, 2246 NC Hwy 86, Yanceyville, NC under the tents, COME TO SEE US!  The last market of the season is the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. Click here a list of events for Eat Well in Caswell!
